Water4gas | Hydrogen Generator for Cars , How I converted My 95 Toyota to Run on Water

By: Jake Loughter

It may sound like something that came out of a science-fiction novel, but it is possible to run a car on water. If you think about it carefully, you will find that it is true. Every one knows that water has two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, and hydrogen is a very practical alternative fuel. In fact, there are prototype cars made by a couple of manufacturers that run solely on hydrogen gas. So if you can somehow separate enough amounts hydrogen gas from water then you have a viable source of cheap fuel.

But you can actually separate the hydrogen gas from water by using a process called electrolysis -- by passing a current through water using an inert metal like platinum or stainless steel, consequently decomposing the water into its base molecules which are hydrogen and oxygen.

As of now, you cannot run a car on water exclusively, what you can do though is turn your car into a gas-water hybrid; this means your car still consumes gasoline but it will be more fuel-efficient than before because of the hydrogen. You will get very noticeable improvements in your car's gas mileage, all the users of the water4gas system all report about getting 30 to 50 percent decrease in their fuel consumption. They pretty much built a hydrogen generator for cars. With that kind of fuel efficiency you stand to save more than a thousand dollars every year on fuel (based on current pump prices).

Converting your car into a gas-water hybrid is not very complicated at all. All you need to do is connect the outlet line of the electrolysis device into the air intake of your car's engine (if your car has an electronic fuel injection system then you should consult with a mechanic on where you should connect the device).

The materials and tools that you will need to create the electrolysis device are all simple as well, the device itself is a glass jar, and the most complicated tool that you will use is a hole cutter. Basically everything that you will need to create an electrolysis device are available in all hardware stores, you just need to download the detailed yet easy-to-follow plans for making and installing the electrolysis machine from the internet, everything you need will cost no more than 50 dollars.

So in conclusion, it is possible to run a car on water, partially anyway, giving you huge fuel savings and less toxic emissions; with these benefits you will be a fool not to try it. Creating a hydrogen generator for cars is easy and I completed it myself in one weekend. This is similar but more effective than the water4gas system.
