1. The lottery is not a game of chance. It is a game of probabilities. Understanding that there are definite things that you can do to improve your chances is the first step to succeeding.

2. An average lotto ticket, bought in the usual way in a 6/49 draw, has only a staggering 1 in 14 million chance of winning! You need to go beyond average.

3. In The UK you can play all fort-nine numbers on just nine tickets. When you play all forty-nine numbers, in a 6 from 49 draw, you are guaranteed to have at the very least 1 number correct. Even the 59 ball New York Lottery only requires 10 games to ensure you have every number covered.

4. Realise that when you are guaranteed to have just 1 ball correct your odds of winning the jackpot fall from 1 in 13,983,816 to an amazing 1 in 1,712,304. Doing this increases the odds by millions. You slash twelve million off your odds of winning. In a 6 from 49 draw that's possible for a modest $9 or £9 investment!
