Is there something that is standing in the way of the advancement of your career? There should be nothing stopping you from obtaining the education you need and deserve to move forward in your current company, or elsewhere. Your career should bring fulfillment and satisfaction as well as a decent paycheck.
Do you have any college courses under your belt at all? Perhaps you started a degree program but did not see it through and got stuck at an entry level position. After investing three years of your time, you can earn an MBA degree that will allow you to move up to a management position that makes more decisions about budgeting and interacting with clients.
A Bachelor’s degree is a great place to meet in the middle. If you do not wish to spend the money on a Master’s degree, or do not have the time in your life right now, moving on to a four year degree would be quite easy if you have already earned your Associate’s degree. Bachelor’s degrees are very versatile, if you wish to move onto another corporation.
Of course, any college degree is going to cost a bit of money out of pocket, luckily there are programs that allow you to obtain free financial aid through scholarships. There are many different ways to qualify; it may be through writing an essay or conducting research on a certain topic. Perhaps you distribute and promote a certain brand on campus and are compensated for it. Another route would be to obtain student loans. If you are working while going to school, you can select an option to repay the loan while in school and not let interest pile up. With so many different options, it’s important to remember, you get what you put in. Even if you do not think you are cut out for a higher level position, you may surprise yourself when you enroll in classes and excel.
