Flame-haired comedienne Kathy Griffin will host a one-hour royal wedding special titled "Kathy Griffin's Insightful and Hilarious Take on the Royal Wedding," reports USA Today. Speaking about her upcoming special, which will premier on the TV Guide Network on April 29 at 8:00pm, Griffin said, "As a longtime royal watcher-and let's be honest, I'm referring to Prince Harry's adorable arse-I'm eminently qualified to cover the wedding of the year, and not just because I once saw Helen Mirren at In-N-Out Burger."

Kathy Griffin's upcoming special will see her taking a hilarious look at Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming nuptials-and she is more than up for the task! "If I can survive having Brooke Shields as my maid of honor (go ahead and Google that one, I'll wait), then I'm fully prepared for that cozy little chapel of love called Westminster Abbey," Griffin joked. "And by Westminster Abbey I mean a TV studio full of judgment."

Kathy Griffin dons a bikini emblazoned with the British flag in the promo for her upcoming special "Kathy Griffin's Insightful and Hilarious Take on the Royal Wedding," and Celebrity-gossip.net reports that she was also spotted in a two-piece suit while on vacation. The 50-year-old comedienne and an unknown male companion were seen taking a stroll in Palm Beach, Florida on April 3.

Griffin showed off her beach body in between tour stops on her current tour. Fans can get Kathy Griffin tickets to see her side-splitting standup act in cities like Boston, MA (for a four-night stand at Wilbur Theatre); Savannah, GA; Sacramento, CA; Nashville, TN; Biloxi, MS; Salt Lake City, UT; Denver, CO and more through October 2011.

Kathy was recently on stage at New York City's Belasco Theatre-but not for a regular tour stop. Griffin's Broadway show Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony opened at the Belasco Theatre on March 11 and ran through March 19. "I won't be able to hold back. If you are in the market for an evening of laughter, swearing and negativity you've found the right show!" Griffin said about Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony, which changed nightly according to what Griffin deemed worthy to discuss on stage!

Despite her busy stage schedule, Griffin somehow found time to tape a guest appearance on Fox's hit series Glee. Griffin guest-starred on Glee on March 15, playing a Sarah Palin-like Tea Party politician, reports CBS News. Griffin's character, "Twitterer and former Tea Party candidate" Tammy Jean Albertson was one of the judges at a regional glee club competition, and skewered another Tea Party candidate, Christine O'Donnell.

Griffin and Palin have gone head-to-head in the press and while the comedian told Bravo's Watch What Happens Live that her Glee character was "more of a Michelle Bachmann, Sharron Angle," because "Tina Fey does the definitive Sarah Palin," Palin sees her Glee spot as another blow. Speaking about her nemesis' Glee gig, Palin told FOX News, "You know, Kathy Griffin can do anything to me or say anything about me, because you know, she's kind of this; she's a 50-year-old adult bully is really what she is." The former GOP candidate also called Griffin a "has-been comedian."
