However, this can be a little bit bothering for businessmen renting them since they would probably have no more time to self-cater.

As there are a lot of rooms inside the venue, one could be guaranteed of optimum privacy. It's basically just like having a home away from home! Away from the noise of the urban area but located strategically, it provides clients the right access to convenient spots in the area.

The cost is something definitely worth considering. With hotels, they charge fairly high prices for rooms that are not much of use anyway. STR's can also be expensive but the cost would me much more reasonable for the amenities provided compared with hotels.

When it comes to choosing a room for conducting large emergency meetings. Businessmen would have to find a venue such as a conference room somewhere else because these cannot be readily offered in STR's. This is in contrast to the services of a hotel that have various rooms where people can come, complete with facilities like projectors and computers.

Finally, the lack of a receptionist would also mean that the check-in and check-out policies would be different and would mean more work. It would have to be scheduled between the renter and the landlord.
