Booth Models up to Task for 2012 E3 Show

By: Jim Angel

Among the most extravagant displays of past E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) shows were the girls; the booth models--personality-packed beauties knowledgeable about the gaming business and most recent advancements.

Among all the camera-clicking and mobile devices busily acquiring images to transmit (and keep), were the remarks frequently heard about how valuable these knowledgeable professional models were to generating and stimulating attention at the event, particularly with the new 3-D gaming products being offered.

This year’s E3 Expo, probably the largest ever, will take place at the technologically advanced Los Angeles Convention Center, June 5-7, 2012 (1201 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, California 90015).

The point of the show, referred to as the world's premiere trade show for computer and video games and related products (like interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and Internet technologies), is for software developers to link up with buyers and retailers, programmers, distributors, entertainment industry representatives, financiers and venture capitalists, manufacturers, resellers, researchers, educators, financial and industry analysts, and worldwide electronic and print media publishers.

Even with a challenging economic environment this year more people are expected to attend. 120 retailers from 18 countries, and over 200 exhibitors were represented, and 46,800 people attended E3 2011. With declining revenues in many industries, some trade show exhibitors have decided to boost awareness and encourage sales from the interactions which have lasting effects on a person’s consciousness and long-lasting recollections of enthusiasm using more booth girls.

Event promoters have corrected exhibits of scantily and provocatively-dressed “booth babes” to which the shows diverted the concentration of business and demonstrations so vital to all exhibitors.

At least one talent agency has maintained its dominance in providing stunning women and handsome men at this, and other shows, by insisting their models are more well-informed and helpful while dominating attendees’ attention for the purposes of generating more sales of clients’ products.

The exhibits and displays by specialized trade show models are a key element for demonstrating products at conventions and events like the E3 show. Models catch a hold of the attention of industry pros and maintain their focus during engaging dialog.

Attendees are also enjoying themselves, making the total experience more useful to increasing the likelihood of better interactions and further sales. Sometimes the selling image in the mind is about what gaming experience is the most enjoyable.

Thriving exhibits today include crowd gatherers and street teams to corral the attendees to see and hear a demonstration of the latest 3-D device, for instance. A presenter will next begin a demonstration and explanation of the item, while booth staffers are efficiently qualifying leads and gathering names and contact information for sales personnel to follow through with and complete the sales steps.

The refined expertise developed through the Preferred Promotional Model and Talent Group (PPG) are evident through the practice that exhibitors require and attendees welcome. PPG models, emcees, presenters, and actors perfectly accommodate the needs of E3 attendees and exhibitors. See for yourself this year!
